Wimbledon - Much More Than The Tennis

Updated: Feb 27

Wimbledon (formally known as ‘The Championships, Wimbledon’) is THE exclusive ticket of the summer with people traveling from around the globe to experience the excitement and atmosphere of the Centre & No.1 Courts in SW17.

If you want to show a client, family member or friend that you care, a ticket to the greatest Tennis tournament in the world is the way to do it. Of course, Wimbledon is about much more than the Tennis and with small capacity on both feature courts, it is only ever experienced by the privileged few.

History Wimbledon is the oldest and arguably the most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. Held annually in Wimbledon, London, it’s one of the four Grand Slam tournaments, alongside the Australian Open, the French Open, and the US Open.

Steeped in tradition, the tournament was first held in 1877, and has always been played on grass - unlike other Grand Slam tournaments.  In upholding the traditions of Wimbledon, the tennis players must wear all white.  And don’t forget the strawberries & cream!

Why is Wimbledon so exclusive?

Because it is the best tennis tournament in the world and in comparison to other major sporting events, has a small capacity and an even smaller number of tickets available for purchase.

Grass is the perfect surface for serve & volley and long rallies.  The Championships, at Wimbledon, has given us the most iconic and memorable moments in tennis.  On top of that, it is near on impossible to get a ticket – unless you book with Stadium Events (Click Here To Buy).

The capacity of Centre Court and No.1 Court at Wimbledon is tiny compared to other major sporting venues across the World.  Centre Court has a capacity of under 15,000.  No.1 Court has a capacity of under 12,500 BUT there are only 2520 debenture seats on centre court and only 1250 debenture seats on No.1 court.  The Wimbledon Tennis Tournament is the most sought ticket in town and it is one of the most exclusive events in the world.

What Is a Debenture Ticket?

A debenture ticket at Wimbledon is the only seat that be transferred and re-sold.  If you are not lucky enough to be allocated a seat in the annual tournament ticket ballot the only way you can attend the Championships, Wimbledon, is to purchase a debenture ticket. There is only 2,520 possibly available on Centre Court and only 1,250 possibly available on no.1 court.

A debenture ticket affords you several very exclusive privileges.  Firstly, you have a debenture seat at Wimbledon!  You have the best views on the court.  And then of course you have access to the exclusive debenture holders’ lounges and restaurant (Champion’s Room, Renshaw’s, Courtside, Roof Top, No. 1 Bar etc) enabling your guests to attend this event in luxury and style.

It Is a Lot Of Money.  Is It Good Value?  Should I Attend?

Yes!  Most definitely!  Attending Wimbledon is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many people.  If you have the opportunity to go, you should attend – at least once.  It is a truly incredible experience and an experience that will be spoken about for many years to come.

We look forward to seeing you at Wimbledon.  Click Here to book your debenture seats.
